Number Songs Printables.

I got my creative groove today, and made these Number songs . Now I am no where as creative as a lot of the bloggers out there!!! I am not set up to do such cute things, I don't have a nice program. Anyways, I made these very simple, but cute number songs... and thought I'd share!

Ladybug girl and avocado plants

At our last visit to the library, A6 got a book titled Ladybug Girl . She loved this book... it was her choice for nap book everyday. I am sure I memorized it... after reading it that many times. It was a sad day, when Ladybug girl was returned to the library. It was a very cute book, and easy to make "educational" A perfect unit book. One thing Ladybug Girl did was water her avocado plant. Every time I said this, A6 asked what's an avocado plant? We went out and bought some avocado's and today started our plants . {this way to grow avocado plants didn't work, I believe that it might be better to try the dark cupboard way? Will let everyone know when we try again!} Even though we don't have the book anymore, they still remembered, and said... Like in Ladybug Girl!!!! As a side note we didn't space our toothpicks right, so we used four to make it balance on top of the water. Guess what A6 will be getting shortly... her own copy of Ladybug Girl {sshhhhh, do...

our first "rowed" book.....

and well let's just say we all have a love/hate relationship with it!!! However I do not give up that easily, and will try a few more! We "rowed" {that is five in a row} with How to make an apple pie and see the world Here's a few highlights from our week. Spell Out Loud~ Apple Pattern Cards HS Share~ How to make an apple pie and see the world unit {I do love that there are so many ideas on HS Share that go with five in a row!!} HS Share~ Apple tree math game ~made apple flashcards and three part apple cards. The science experiment in the Five in a Row teacher book~ Salt Water. Here's A4, A5, and A6 all helping stir the salt into the water. Here's the finished product....salt!

A moment in the A's TOT School....

Even though I haven't been a regular TOT School blogger, like I've wanted to be, we still do different TOT School activities, so I am sure my TOT School posts, will be random and just ideas! But hey, at least I am sharing! Here's a photo of A5 practicing her words. This is one of her favorite activities. We dump out {seriously dump... look at the picture} all the plastic magnet letters we have. She grabs one of her favorite easy readers, or maybe the one she just read. Then she looks for words, and spells them with magnetic letters. simple enough... She was using our Al is a fat cat book in the photo. Oh and A6 is learning, yes it might be upside down, but hey at least she's enjoying herself too!

Wordless Weekday

We recently moved out learning room to a different area of the house. When I get it organized and finished, then I will show some updated photos....until then. Here's something we did and I LOVE! All of our School Games, mostly used for the little ones, things for them to do during school time, are in these stackable plastic totes..I believe they are sterilite. I also labeled them all. I like they are see through and that they stack. On the lid they have little grooves, and on the bottom they have small lips that fit. helps to keep the chaos down, or atleast sometimes!
